R4aBW's second charity event of 2019 was even more successful than the first. Once again taking center stage at Busby's East, we raised $10,000 for Music for Relief's Fire Relief Fund. It was a fantastically-festive night, as old friends and new came out to get their food, drink and rock&roll on in support of California Firefighters. Once again, Atomic Liquor headlined the evening with a killer 90-minute set featuring music from INXs, Duran Duran, Journey, Styx, The Fixx, The Police, Loverboy, Cheap Trick, Billy Idol, and more...
Highlights included keyboardist Chris Emerson taking his keytar and venturing into the crowd during Van Halen's "Jump", guest singer Chris Mills hyping the crowd during the Clash's "Rock the Casbah", guitarist David DJ Jung absolutely slaying the guitar solo on Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer", and the entire place losing their collective minds during a mash-up of Foreigner's "Double Vision" and Beastie Boys' "Fight for Your Right"
Stay tuned -- R4aBW VOLUME THREE is coming soon!
